Today i managed to finish the second ruin, but sadly i lost my first character already which doesn't inspire confidence in me being able to enjoy the game, despite knowing that losing heroes is part of the game (and also enjoyed rogue-lites before). The game indeed carries a freakishly dark, dire vibe that i rarely experience in games and so i only launched it occassionally when i was feeling prepared enough to take another stab at it. So i installed it a couple of days ago, played a bit and could already feel the uneasiness creeping up my back. I knew that this is a good game (up to that point i even had it in my Steam wishlist), alot of people like it, but it's supposed to be punishing at times with alot of dying (and grinding?) so i was always a bit hesitant to actually play it, i guess. I got this game a while ago for free on EGS but didn't get around trying it out until now.
